Little Paper House on the Prairie

31st May until 8th June 2014, 1pm until 5pm (garden closed Tuesday 3rd june)

During our first week of opening ,Sussex Prairies is proud to be a part of the Chelsea Festival Fringe Brighton.

Wagons will be rolling on the prairies as our large paper house and accompanying paper garden will be perambulating about the gardens with the biggest outdoor art exhibition in the world in attendance.

Join us for a week of paper related workshops , exhibitions and happenings with the following artists , sculptors and writers.

Jackie Sweet - weaving with paper
Sabine Dahn- making ceramic hens and firing them in paper kilns
Jill Tattersall - postcards from the prairies & concertina book collage
Deborah Carter - paper jewellery
Anne Kelly - textile and paper delights
Lydia Crook- virtual paper cutting exhibition
Jill Staples -photography on japanese papers
Paul Cox - paper sculpture
Julia Lee - talking about her books and writing
