Our Guest Book

  1. We both found our visit very enjoyable, from the warm welcome by Pauline on our arrival, to our departure 3 days later.

Our room was the Red one, more of a small suite, well furnished and with good amenities. The breakfasts were top quality, mostly using home produce.

The extensive grounds were of a kind that we had never seen before, immaculately kept and with a vast range of trees, plants, interspersed with some amusing sheet-metal sculptures and ceramics, and contented sheep, pigs, goats and poultry.

Altogether, a splendid, tranquil place for a break.

  2. Many thanks for your hospitality and great time. I was really impressed by your lovely garden. You both have achieved a lot in so little time. I took a lot of pictures whilst in the garden and promised to publish these on Panoramio (click on my name for the link). Good luck with the garden and B&B hope to be back later this year, Erik

Best wishes from Jasper, Jojanneke and me.

  4. We just wanted to say thank you; we had such a wonderful, relaxing time, and thoroughly fell in love with the garden - we can't wait to see it in its prime.! And what with the garden, beautifully furnished house, perfect food and warm hospitality - it's the best B&B ever! We certainly thought it great value for the whole experience.

    We will be back!

  5. We thorougly enjoyed our stay at Sussex Prairies in june 2010. From the exciting outdoors to the very elegant and inviting room we stayed in. Every little detail counts and both garden and B&B are 1 of the most relaxing we have ever been to. Highly recommended and a must-see must-go for all garden lovers: truly inspirational!
