Sussex Prairies will not be open to the general public for visiting in 2026 . We shall however be picking the prairie garden for fabulous cut flowers with a difference for weddings , funerals and all other celebrations . Now you can get more bang for your bucket (of flowers) throughout our season June to October

Alfonso the Magnificent – Live Music on the Prairie

We are delighted to welcome Alfonso the Magnificent to the garden to play live for us . Pay the garden admission fee and the band will be there for you to enjoy .
Alfonso the Magnificent is an innovative and exciting group, mixing traditional genres of Jazz, Gypsy Jazz, Latin, Classical and Modern Folk to create a unique sound of their own. Performing original songs from melancholic ballads to toe-tapping upbeat dance tunes.
The collaboration consists of Violinist Mervyn Wallis, Singer/Guitarist Leo Gibbs, Accordionist David Warner and Percussionist Nathan Marshall.
