This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the gardens and work freely in a concertina sketchbook for 2 days. Treating the sketchbook as a place to play and experiment with mixed media, working directly in the garden, surrounded by colour, shape, texture, sounds and smells. You will undoubtedly feel alive and refreshed by the experience and will create an exciting, expressive, full to bursting sketchbook.
You will have exclusive access to this inspirational space each morning before the garden opens to the public. You will be guided through simple mindful meditation exercises each day to awaken the senses, to respond freely, increasing your sense of connection to the visual and sensory world, giving you the courage to keep playing, take risks, let go, find your own limits. See what grows in the garden of your creativity!
9am meet/9.30am start with tuition until 2pm each day (access to the garden and limited access to studio until 5pm each day)
Cost: £160* (includes garden entry fee, tuition and studio space 9am – 2pm with hot drinks and biscuits available all day) *£10 concertina sketchbook can be
bought from the tutor on the day or paid for in advance if you don’t want to bring your own.
