Our next super Event will be our Beautiful and Useful Craft Fair this coming weekend 14th and 15th September - 11am until 5pm - expect over 30 exhibitors all set in a glorious garden setting . Delicious refreshments , live music ,art exhibition , plant sale and of course homemade cake. Dogs very welcome !

Course Times
9.45am – 2pm each day with 1 x 30 minute break.
All dyeing media supplied within cost of course but there is an extra cost for fabric that has been prepared in advance of the day(s). Details of this extra charge will be supplied if you request further details.
1 day Eco Print course 10th August
Eco-print dyeing is a fascinating way of printing onto fabric. You will use flowers and leaves from the Prairie Garden in a contact printing method that allows them to transfer their colour, texture and patterns. The effects and results you can get from a range of plants will fascinate you. This course is an exploration into the surprising and exciting effects that can be achieved by wrapping plants in cloth.
It is possible to gain results in a 1-day course. You will unwrap at least half your bundles on the day and be encouraged to leave the other half for some days to dry out naturally before unwrapping. You will make 6 fabric samples and if you have any spare time I will introduce you to a little rust dyeing with paper.
1 or day 2 Ecoprint course 11th August for beginners or those who wish to extend their experience
If you are on day 1 please read above. If you are returning for a second day you will need a second pack of fabric and can make some more samples using the same methods or you can increase your experiments with rust dyeing. If you are expecting to focus on paper dyeing you will need to purchase a pack of paper instead of fabric.
