Fermenting Workshop with Therese Eriksen

Saturday 21st June 2025 | 10:30am - 1:30pm

Fermenting Workshop with Therese Eriksen

Traditional diets have always included a range of local live and fermented foods and drinks. This art has been lost in recent decades but is making a resurgence now.

Therese Eriksen from Shoreham Homoeopathy teaches practical workshops on how to make tasty, nutritious foods and drinks to aid digestion and enhance overall health.

This workshop will also run on 13th September .

Workshops last around three hours and are suitable for beginners. The idea is to learn how easy it is to incorporate these foods and drinks into our routines, with minimum fuss. Once you know the basics, you can get creative and build on the simple recipes shown on the day.

All ingredients, jars and starters are provided as well as a booklet to take away with the recipes. Just bring a pinnie!

After the class has ended you can stay on and enjoy the garden for the rest of the day. Please bring a packed lunch.

Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be offered to all class participants.

Everyone joins in and makes some ferments to take away. Samples of each food and drink are available to taste on the day.

The workshop covers:

  • Sourdough bread
  • Sauerkraut and fermented Carrot and ginger
  • Kombucha

Jars and starters are provided as well as a booklet to take away with recipes. Just bring a pinnie!

Cost – £80 per person

After the class has ended you can stay on and enjoy the garden for the rest of the day.

Refreshments of tea, coffee and biscuits will be offered to all class participants.
