Folk Tales Mini Course and Tea Time with Anne Kelly

Join textile artist, author and tutor Anne Kelly for a workshop at the lovely Sussex Prairie Garden on Saturday 1 September 2018. From 9am – 2pm you will be making a mini folk banner that can be displayed on a wall or used as part of a larger piece. Techniques including block printing, appliqué and hand stitching will be used. Folk motifs and natural elements inspired by the garden will be used. A full list of materials required will be sent to participants before the course.

Cost of workshop £ 40 per place including materials.

Please contact Anne to learn more and to book a place at mail@annekellytextiles.com. Spaces will be limited.

In the afternoon join Anne for an exhibition of her folk inspired work and a book signing of her latest ‘Textile Folk Art’. Books will be available for purchase and signing – alongside the delicious varieties of cake and tea on offer at the Garden’s café.
