Growing a Herbal Tea Garden with Lin

Sunday 18th August 2024 | 9:30am - 1:30pm

Growing a Herbal Tea Garden with Lin

Join us at the Sussex Prairies Herb Hub !
Take time out to enjoy both a learning and sensory experience. Enjoy delving into a little bit of fun history and age old use of herbs.
We will take a look at traditional herb gardens and learn the medicinal properties of herbs that you can grow at home either in the garden or in containers.
We will learn how to dry and store these herbs for use all year round so that herbal tea isn’t just for the summer months.
I will have a selection of plants to feed your senses and indulge your taste buds as we sample freshly made teas.
There will be a small herb plant to take home.

To book contact Lin on. 07890 299639

Additional workshop Dates are

Friday 26th July
Friday 2nd August

Workshop Price £65

Wonderful garden well worth a visit. Great variety of plants showing so many ways of portraying a garden layout. Must comment on the great tea and cakes selection, our dog loved the doggy ice cream!

Beautifully planted area, in which you are encouraged to walk along paths between the plants so can be completely surrounded by foliage - a lovely effect.
