How to Live Deliberately – Self-care with Liz Warnock

‘I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach’ Henry David Thoreau

Do you feel stressed and overwhelmed? Would you like to know how to make space for your own self-care and wellbeing but do not know, where to begin. Do you find that this is often pushed to the bottom of your priority list in favour of the needs of others?

In the world we inhabit today our attention is bartered for mentally, physically, and digitally. It is often difficult to make space solely for ourselves.

How would you like to live more deliberately, to rediscover and navigate the world in alignment with your values and what is important to you and use these as your guiding star through times of challenge and uncertainty? To discover how this benefits you, your relationships, and your experience of the world?

This nurturing workshop is for you If you have a lot on your plate, if you feel stretched, overwhelmed and struggle to say no. Through reflection, mindfulness, and movement practices we will explore what living deliberately means to you and how, by bringing the intention to this you can begin to see the woods for the trees – in other words to feel less overwhelmed and preoccupied with negative thoughts and feelings and more able to see the beauty in front of you as it unfolds moment to moment.

What to expect:

  • Dedicated time for you, away from all responsibility.
  • Discover what it means to you to live deliberately.
  • Explore your values and purpose.
  • Feel lighter and leave with clear next steps to nurture your self-care.
  • Guided practice of a series of reflection, mindfulness and movement practices that can easily be integrated into your life.
•Access to the beautiful Sussex Prairie Gardens after the session where you may picnic or purchase refreshment from the café.
  • A gift from me to take away and nurture and enjoy after the session.
