Using natural textures and colours as your inspiration, learn how to incorporate mixed media such as mulberry bark, foils and paint with fabric, to make a beautiful and unique hand stitched 3D vessel or container. Hand embroider and embellish using a range of natural media such as silk cocoons and carrier rods, beads and textured wools in this fun and experimental two-day workshop. Price includes all materials, with lots of interesting fibres and textures to play with!

Biography
Esther Collins is a Textile Artist and Tutor, who uses fabric, paper and stitch to make mixed media collages, embroidered pictures and vessels. Inspired by the natural environment, plants and flowers often feature in her work. She is a member of the Society for Embroidered Work, is an exhibiting artist and runs weekly workshops from her home studio.
