Join Pauline for a hands on sustainable flower pressing workshop where we will firstly make up our own recycled book flower press , and then we will enjoy an inspirational walk out into the prairie garden finding flowers , leaves and grasses to fill it . You will learn how to select and prepare the most suitable seasonal flowers and how to press and preserve a variety of specimens using traditional flower pressing techniques. Enjoy filling your flower press, which is yours to keep at the end of the course.

End the morning by making a small folding pocket sized zine using Indian khadi paper , selected collage pieces and pressed flowers from the garden. Your first pressed flower project !

Enjoy complementary teas/coffee and home-made biscuits inside our rustic teahouse

A workshop to enjoy with friends and family in a beautiful natural setting.

Bring an apron and a pair of secateurs and wear appropriate clothing and footwear for being out in the garden.
