Collecting your own seed and producing your own seedlings is a very cost effective way of making your garden look beautiful. It’s also good fun and can be incredibly satisfying.
On this course we will use the plants in the Prairie Garden borders to help learn how to recognise when seed is ripe, the best methods for collection and storage of seed, the correct time of year to sow different seeds and also a few different methods of sowing seeds to get the best results. We will also cover what to do once your seedlings have germinated so that you will have plenty of healthy seedlings ready to plant out into your garden next year.
Price £65 per person including garden talk with Pauline McBride and Exclusive Garden tour with Head Gardener Paul McBride
