A working knowledge of your own camera, what ever your camera is, and lenses, and a Try-Pod would be of great advantage.

In Clive’s own words –
I started Photographing Gardens in the late 70’s, while working on my book on the life of the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
I have worked for most of the major garden magazine, I was principle garden Photographer to Country Life Magazine for some 15 years, and 10 years with the Sunday Times Colour Magazine,
My Garden Books published include,English Herb Gardens, English Water Gardens, Curious Gardeners 2 volumes, Remaking of a Garden, The Laskett, with Sir Roy Strong, Houses of the Lake District,Cambridge College Gardens, Secret Gardens of Somerset, and a sequel of the gardens of the South East to be published Sept 22.
I’m a photographic judge for the RHS, and I teach photography to MA architectural students at Oxford Brookes University. was awarded a BEM in the Queen’s New Years Honours list 2018.
