Summer Herbal Remedies with Helen Baldwin , Medical Herbalist

Get ready for summer! Learn how to make herbal remedies to support you through the summer months.

A great chance to understand how you can use plants to support you through summer. We’ll learn about the properties and actions of plants and look at different ways to prepare herbs. All recipes will be shared and there will be an opportunity to make at least 3 things to take home such as bite relief, after sun and a cooling face spray to get you through the summer months. A great opportunity expand your herbal knowledge and get more confident with identification, harvesting and making.

Bio

 

Helen is a qualified medical herbalist and member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists. Graduating with distinction from the 6 year Advanced Diploma at the School of Herbal Medicine in Bridgwater, Somerset.

She is passionate about sharing her knowledge so that people can take care of their own health and well-being. She runs workshops, gives talks and takes guided herb walks in the local countryside. She is also FREC3 qualified and works at festivals providing herbal first aid with the Festival Medical Herbalists.

Helen is based in Rottingdean in East Sussex where she runs a private clinic practice. When not working with patients, Helen can be found in the garden, out foraging or busy making lotions and potions in the kitchen.
