Sussex Prairies will not be open to the general public for visiting in 2026 . We shall however be picking the prairie garden for fabulous cut flowers with a difference for weddings , funerals and all other celebrations . Now you can get more bang for your bucket (of flowers) throughout our season June to October
WILLOW CONE PLANTER
There is something about working with Willow that is both mindful and relaxing, especially when you also combine botanics in the mix!
Using a selection of Willow you will weave a cone using a tabletop jig. Once complete, you can either create a handle for hanging or secure a wooden pole to allow you to push the finished cone into the ground so it is free-standing. The cone is then planted with a selection of succulents or seasonal plants provided.
