At the Sussex Prairie Garden we extend a warm welcome to everyone.
We have ensured that there is step free access to all public areas and we have provided plenty of seating around the garden – including in the middle of some of the flower beds. The majority of surfaces are firm and level. There are wood chip paths through the borders, but they are not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters. The teashop terrace overlooking the garden is a hard surface and there are no steps or stairs there. We also have an accessible toilet at the teashop.
Carers
We offer free Garden entry for carers, if they are visiting to support the person they care for.
We do ask that the person being cared for pays full price entry .
We use bold planting and there are plenty of scented plants to enjoy.
If you’d simply like some quiet time, the garden provides a number of secluded places to sit. The cafe offers herbal teas and caffeine free options.
We recognise that everyone has unique requirements and here we can only cover some general points, if you’d like to discuss any aspect of your visit please contact us on 01273 495902 or morlandsfarm@btinternet.com and we will be happy to help.
We are sure that you will enjoy your visit, however if you encounter any difficulties please tell us about them straight away so that we can resolve them as quickly as possible.
