An event in Marquees in Sussex Prairie Garden.Gorgeous clothes in cottons and vintage sari silk,semi precious designer jewellery,scarves,home furnishings and gifts – all ethically traded from India. Alex’s curry “Dhaba” will be serving delicious authentic curries.
Jo Hall will be giving talks on textiles and Nepal and there will be woodblock printing for kids and adults !
On Wed 16th and Sat 19th Jo will be giving her “Coverings” talk. The talk focuses on Clothing in traditonal and modern Rajasthan and explores identity, Women, Caste and Culture.
Garden is closed Tuesday 15th August.
