Beautiful & Useful Fair

See and buy from some of Britain’s best designer-makers at this carefully curated boutique fair. Work on offer includes an exciting, inspiring mix of ceramics, wood, textiles, metalwork and more. Delicious refreshments will also be available.All set in a beautiful Prairie Garden !Music will be there to enjoy from The Riverboat Shuffle Band on Saturday 17th September and the Brass Fusion Quintet On Sunday 18th September .Not everyone may have card payment facilities so do please bring a mixture of cash or card options to pay for your purchases.

Handmade porcelain tableware inspired by the vibrant colours of Miami. Based in West Sussex  

Ash Leaf Printmaking

A West Sussex-based designer and printmaker specialising in hand embossing.

Alex Yule

Alex worked as an architectural model-maker before she retrained as a jeweller at City Lit and Sir John Cass, where she honed her skills working with precious metals.

Anna Wiscombe

Based in rural Dorset, Anna makes a range of wooden flowers and jewellery, drawing her inspiration from the natural landscape and beautiful flora and fauna of the English countryside.

Becky Crow

A mixture of jewellery and three-dimensional illustration, Becky’s work is designed to be both worn and displayed. Based in Brighton.

By Cecil

By Cecil was launched by Cecilia Child as an alternative to today’s mass-produced and environmentally damaging textiles and to demonstrate the best of British industry.

Chalk

Soft woollen throws, blankets and cushions and gifts for women and men, designed by Kerry Stokes in Brighton.

Chrissy Silver

A passionate gardener and potter, Chrissy works with fresh plant materials and fine porcelain to make her intricately detailed lamps, pendants, wall lights and tea light holders.

Christiane Gunzi

Based in Sussex, Christiane handcrafts traditional and contemporary baskets using mainly English willow and rush.

Cocoon & Me

Working with planet-friendly materials such as cotton, jute, recycled textiles and vegan-friendly fibres, Cocoon & me uses macramé, crochet and knitting to produce a range of original beautiful pieces for you, your home and garden. Based in Brighton.

Glass Garden Art

Beautiful, handcrafted stained glass art for your garden, made by Ellie Drake-Lee from her studio in the Sussex South Downs.

Jennie Jackson

Contemporary designer lampshades, cushions, bags and scarves, handmade by Reigate-based designer of lovely things, Jennie Jackson.

Jennifer Tetlow

Jennifer is a stone sculptor based in NorthYorkshire carving sandstone in a simple, uncomplicated style in celebration of her love of nature.

Julian Warrender

Julian uses traditional techniques, unusual textures and hammered effects as well as exquisitely detailed cast elements to create her eclectic ranges of jewellery. Based in Lewes, East Sussex.

Inspired by nature, RubyKite creates wearable art – silk and cashmere scarves printed with designs stemming from co-founderTamara’s contemporary mixed media paintings and intaglio prints.

Sarah Rickard

Sarah studied ceramics and textiles atThe Manchester Metropolitan University and has continued her practice ever since, now creating unique, handmade pieces from her garden studio in rural East Sussex.

Silvia K Ceramics

Award-winning ceramicist Silvia Kamodyova undertakes every aspect of the process herself, making her own plaster moulds; mixing the casting slip, making the glazes and cutting the leather straps.

      Wonderful garden well worth a visit. Great variety of plants showing so many ways of portraying a garden layout. Must comment on the great tea and cakes selection, our dog loved the doggy ice cream!

      Beautifully planted area, in which you are encouraged to walk along paths between the plants so can be completely surrounded by foliage - a lovely effect.

      Tea room not brilliant nice cake but coffee in paper cup. No other options other then tea coffee and cake. Opening times short 1 to 5 but gardens beautiful
