Introduction to Warm Glass – Pollinators and Fused Glass workshop with Miranda Ellis & Caroline Adams

Miranda Ellis and Caroline Adams will be showing you how to make beautiful glass hangings.

Miranda shows her garden sculptures at Sussex Prairie, Brighton festival and galleries nationally.

Caroline has worked at Sussex Prairie Wild for many years and with her knowledge of plants will show you a perspective of the garden to get you inspired!

Using the garden flowers and colourful pollinators as our inspiration. We will guide you through the process of creating in glass. Making a unique piece that brings light to your space and reflects this beautiful garden.

You will have opportunity to learn about:

  • techniques and theories of working with glass
  • high fire glass paints and oxides
  • transfering designs
  • using reclaimed glass and metal inclusions
  • cutting glass safely

Your work will be fired in kiln and ready for collection from Brighton or posted in approx 2 weeks after the course. Old clothes, closed toe shoes recommended. All levels and experience welcome.

Includes access to garden and scones and tea.

Introductory price £65 per person including firing and materials: https://www.trybooking.com/uk/events/landing/81886
