Sussex Prairie Garden is open until 13th October 2024. Our opening days and hours are wednesday to sunday . 1pm until 5pm . Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays . Dogs are welcome.
Our next super Event will be our Beautiful and Useful Craft Fair this coming weekend 14th and 15th September - 11am until 5pm - expect over 30 exhibitors all set in a glorious garden setting . Delicious refreshments , live music ,art exhibition , plant sale and of course homemade cake. Dogs very welcome !
Garden Folding Textile Book by Anne Kelly
*****THIS WORSHOP IS NOW FULLY BOOKED *****Using elements from the inspirational plants and planting at Sussex Prairies, we will be making a small folding paper and textile folding book using a simple lamination and stitching techniques. A materials list will be sent to you before the class – there are limited spaces so early booking is advised. Please email Anne directly at acegkelly@hotmail.com to reserve your place.
About Anne:
Anne was artist in residence at Sussex Prairies in 2014. She is a Kent-based artist, author and tutor. Her fourth book for Batsford ‘Textile Travels’ was published in October 2020.
