Mindfulness in Nature with Amanda Tyler

Wednesday 19th June 2024 | 10:30am - 1:00pm

Mindfulness in Nature with Amanda Tyler

Mindfulness means noticing and opening up to our present moment experiences without judgement and this can help us to manage stress and to flourish. During this 2.5hr workshop we will use a range of mindfulness practices to support us with coming to the present moment. Our focus will be on mindfulness in nature within the wonderful setting at Sussex Prairie gardens. There will be a range of guided nature based mindfulness practices within a nurturing and supportive environment.
The workshop costs £35 and includes tea, coffee and biscuits and free entry to the gardens. All are welcome and it is suitable for beginners and those with an established practice.
Places are limited, to book your place please contact Amanda Tyler via sunrisepsychology@outlook.com
Amanda has a long standing meditation practice and has been teaching mindfulness for over 12 years, having trained with Exeter University and the Mindfulness in Schools Project. Amanda has a passion for teaching mindfulness in many different settings and regularly co-facilitates mindfulness courses for Sharpham Trust. Amanda is a HCPC registered psychologist.

Wonderful garden well worth a visit. Great variety of plants showing so many ways of portraying a garden layout. Must comment on the great tea and cakes selection, our dog loved the doggy ice cream!

Beautifully planted area, in which you are encouraged to walk along paths between the plants so can be completely surrounded by foliage - a lovely effect.
