We are delighted to be welcoming Silver Strings back to Sussex Prairies for an afternoon of fun and musical cheer. Silver Strings, Brighton & Hove’s very own later-starter community string band, has been running since early 2013 . So far we have introduced 200+ older people to playing stringed instruments and numbers are growing. We meet weekly to choose, play and devise music together: we play a wide range of material including folk tunes, classical themes, and popular melodies.

The band will play two sets of 40 minutes each from 2pm with a break somewhere in the middle !
