Imagine, 5 days immersed in this beautiful garden
This course uses meditation as an integral part of the creative process, focusing on drawing and painting as an experience, increasing your sense of connection to the visual and sensory world.
2 days working in a sketchbook, a space to play and experiment, mixing mark making with observation. You will be encouraged to bring a similarly exploratory approach to painting in the final 3 days.
This is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the gardens at their best – whatever the weather – when the grasses are in full height, the seed heads are already forming, and the late flowers still in bloom.
Using the breath and meditation to relax, settle in to the space can help reduce anxiety, and remove obstacles in your creative process, giving you the courage to keep playing, take risks, let go, find your own limits. See what grows in the garden of your creativity!
Course fee £375 (non-refundable deposit £75 to be paid ASAP will secure a space, with full payment required by 31 August 2022)
The fee includes sketchbooks, and daily entrance to the gardens. Contact Katie for booking and course info/materials list. There will be tea, coffee and cakes available all day to buy at the cafe. You are welcome to bring your own food for lunch.
