Vicky will guide you on an enjoyable journey: the experience of creating a wild style bouquet. During the session you will learn techniques about how to look after your flowers to make them last longer, how to prepare each flower before placing them in a vase, how to choose your flowers, how make a bouquet and how to wrap it up; at the end of the session, you will take your beautiful creation home with you.
No previous experience required

What to bring with you
• Secateurs or good scissors
• Pen and paper, if you want to take notes
• Vase (optional)
• Your favourite garden flowers or foliage (optional)

You do not need to bring your own flowers or vase – just some scissors and your imagination! The price also includes entrance to the garden, materials & refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits) during the hours of the course.

The course will be taught by Vicky Rodriguez -Altuna.

Vicky is an MBA graduate with a love for plants, gardens, flowers, arts and crafts. She started growing plants and flowers over twenty years ago in her patio and her love of gardening grew. After taking several floristry vocational trainings, her interest was ignited further and she decided to enrol at Plumpton College and become a professional florist. Her multicultural cultural background (she grew up in a Spanish diplomatic family and has travelled the world extensively), her experience as a theatre producer and dance teacher, her innate aesthetic curiosity, her kind nature and sense of humour make her the ideal guide to lead you on this colourful adventure.

Vicky is an innovative, sensitive and creative florist with experience in flower shop work (The Brighton Flower Company), freelance commissions, private events and voluntary floristry work. You can contact her via flowerswithvicky@proton.me

Beautifully planted area, in which you are encouraged to walk along paths between the plants so can be completely surrounded by foliage - a lovely effect.
