Small Wonders Mini Concertina Sketchbook Course with Katie Sollohub

Spend a day immersed in all things wonderful about this beautiful garden. Relax and unwind with a playful and creative approach to filling a sketchbook – small but perfectly formed – you will be given a concertina sketchbook just 10cm x 7.5cm when closed, that opens out to be over a metre in length.
Working fast and freely you will be encouraged to pour ink, scribble, draw, write, make marks – responding with all your senses, filling the pages with colour and texture, as you explore the garden. There will be guided meditations and simple drawing exercises to help you along the way.
You’ll finish with a miniature bulging sketchbook that can be enjoyed as an object in its own right, and might provide inspiration for more exciting projects to come. May it inspire you to revisit the garden, and carry on with your creative journey long after the workshop.
