Sussex Prairies will not be open to the general public for visiting in 2026 . We shall however be picking the prairie garden for fabulous cut flowers with a difference for weddings , funerals and all other celebrations . Now you can get more bang for your bucket (of flowers) throughout our season June to October
We are delighted that we shall be joined by Dr John Mason from the South Downs Planetarium at Chichester for a night of star gazing at Sussex Prairies. There will be telescopes to look through and a wealth of starry information being given by expert stargazer John.

if the weather is inclement on 22nd September we will have Saturday 23rd September as a backup date .
Wear warm clothes, sensible shoes for walking on dewy grass and bring a torch. It will be dark !
We’ll have the first quarter Moon, Saturn and Jupiter in the sky, plus the usual summer stars, constellations, etc.
