Our next super Event will be our Beautiful and Useful Craft Fair this coming weekend 14th and 15th September - 11am until 5pm - expect over 30 exhibitors all set in a glorious garden setting . Delicious refreshments , live music ,art exhibition , plant sale and of course homemade cake. Dogs very welcome !

Sussex Prairie Gardens, 10 – 2pm, £55 per person (RHS members 20% discount £44) plus £20 for the wooden frame
Create your own unique textural mini-weaving, ready to hang on the wall. We will be working on ready-warped small wooden frames. Learn needle weaving, knotting, soumak technique and other textural effects. We will also look at a variety of ways to finish off your weaving – the frame comes ready to hang on the wall.
Suitable for complete beginners and those with some weaving experience. Weaving materials and equipment are provided. Different yarns and materials will be available to experiment with.
Please bring small scissors, an old dining fork, a 30cm ruler and a pencil. Option to bring your own sticks, yarns etc. to include in the weave.
If you wish to continue at home, extra frame looms may be purchased from the tutor for £22 and additional yarns will also be available to purchase.
Jackie teaches weaving as an art form, exhibits and undertakes commissions internationally. She has been weaving for over 20 years and teaching for 12 years. www.jackietapestry.com
