It is very tempting to purchase every shade of paint colour from your Art shop isn’t It? Professional Artists always mix colours from scratch and rarely paint directly from the tube. Resident Artist Amanda will show you how and why mixing your own colours from scratch is not only satisfying, cheaper but, most importantly, will improve the way you see colour.
We will be using acrylic paints and a metal palette knife. Bring a variety of blues and yellows if you have them. Otherwise paints, knives, acetate and card will be provided. Don’t forget your painting shirt or apron!
